The Sery brothers were on record breaking form at the Watford Open last week.
U17 Luke ran a great personal best of 2:10.95, continuing his brilliant start to the season.
U13 Marcus broke the club 800m record in a fantastic performance, racing home in 2:20.22.
The brothers’ coach Stef Dokic commented, “Marcus’s 800m PB of 2.20.22 at the Watford open came as a surprise as he broke the U13 800m club record. A quality time which will be tough to beat. This is because Marcus ran the race in lane two for 500m as the pack stuck firm in lane one. As he approached 600m, Marcus gave a fast effort to gain an advantage and get into lane one.
His brother Luke also PB’d, racing 2.10.95. With more racing to come, so will the PBs.”
