The Original Marathon

A huge congratulations to Karmen and Katie for completing the Original Marathon on Saturday 7th March!

Running the route together, the event is described as ‘London’s newest, oldest marathon’. The route follows the very first 26.2 mile marathon route from Windsor Castle to White City, London. A fantastic way to experience a piece of running history whilst also receiving a replica of the 1908 medal and diploma of merit!

Several club members were out on route to offer their support and encouragement along the way. Well done to you both on a brilliant achievement!
