Our kit was “Worn in the USA”

Matt Fayers might be in the USA on a sports scholarship missing our XC season but in his debut x/c race in the US he managed to make it feel a bit like home by wearing his Hillingdon A C vest.  Racing for Oklahoma State University against other local  State Universities in a pre NCAA race meeting. The 5 mile home race Matt managed a creditable 39th in 25. 49.
Taking the first 5k with hills cautiously Matt went through in 16.41. Then put his foot down and raced the last 3k in 9.08. GB’s and Oklahoma’s Tom Farrell came 6th in 24.47. 1st 5K 15.37 then 3K in 9.10.

The Oklahoma State University Cowboys have won three of the last four NCAA titles in men’s cross country
Matts next race will be the big one the 1st NCAA  x/c league which Oklahoma are the title holders.
