May Training Race

Thursday 14th May saw the 2nd 5km Training Race of the summer take place. A good field of 53 finishers on a pleasant evening, with a return after a number of years from Nikki Ashe and 4 first-timers, including another of Dave Newman’s daughters.

A big thank you to our officials, Phil Welch, Gavin Collett, Sharon Talbot and Andy Torrance for recording and publishing the results.

James Laing was first to finish, in 16:33, followed by Harry Hopkins (17:10) and Ryan Hamdy (18:23).

Clara Higgs was the first female finisher (20:06), closely followed by Hannah Laing (20:08).

Training Race Results

Following the race, Mukesh served up his much loved curry and Alan hosted a quiz, with great feedback of a golf round! A big thank you to our clubhouse team for all their efforts!
