We’re happy to announce our entry to The Green Belt Relay!
The Green Belt Relay is a popular event for HAC. This will be our 5th time competing, with our previous entries coming in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024. The relay is ran over Saturday and Sunday 17th – 18th May, with teams of 11 runners, each running a leg around the Green Belt on each day. The relay starts at Hampton Court Palace, with the first day finishing at Blackmore. The second day starts at Blackmore, finishing at Bushy Park Sports Centre, completing the Green Belt!
To add to the challenge, each leg is along a set route, which each runner will have to self navigate, apart from the odd marshal point and helping of saw dust! Each team also has to ensure runners are picked up and dropped of at the correct points in time for their start time!
Our team this year is Adam, Andy, Clive, Gabe, Jeremy, John, Patrick, Sam, Spencer, Vicky and Zoe!
Andy, John, Sam and Zoe have competed in every year we’ve entered as a club!
