English Schools Championships

The English Schools Championships is the 4th biggest Athletics event held annually in the world and it’s a truly remarkable achievement to qualify especially considering there are 6.8million pupils of secondary school age in England. The event will be broadcast live and the athletes get to perform in a stadium used for international events in front of thousands of spectators against the best athletes in England. The counties of England have all been holding their regional Schools Championships with the purpose of assembling their teams for the ESAA. We have several HAC athletes competing; Aryan Padaruth, Hebe Evans, Juanita Kyere -Aidoo, Lucy Wilcock, Mia Smith, Nana Owusuah Quainoo & Samuel Jagroop. They will be competing in the Manchester Regional Arena on Friday 8th & Saturday 9th July. We wish them lots of luck at this event.
