Fantastic result at the first Vets track fixture of the season at Battersea on 13th May– well done everyone. This is the best start we have ever had, so a good turnout at the next fixture on the 10th June at Uxbridge track is imperative to put more daylight between Hillingdon AC and the rest of the chasing pack……Alan and Jackie Butler. Sunday 7th June saw the Coombe Hill Fell race take place. There isn’t too much to report on for this one, with only Alex Giffin and Graham Bright representing the Club at this fixture.
Thursday 11th June saw the 3rd 5km Training Race of the summer take place. James Laing was first to finish, fresh from a 12th place finish at the Swansea Half Marathon at the weekend, in 16:33.
The Gosunder Handicap race will take place on Saturday 15th August.
