Kingston AC and Poly Harriers – QuadKids and Open Meeting

Over 178 athletes attended the event, with Hillingdon entering a team of 11 athletes. Eight athletes competed in the QuadKids competition, while three took part in the Open Age Group competition.
This was the first competition for the Hillingdon QuadKids group, and there were many fantastic results across the four events. Our standout competitor of the day was Georgie Sibley (U10), who won two of the four events and finished second in the other two.
The QuadKids team performed brilliantly overall and secured the 3rd place team trophy.
Well done to Zuri, Saalaar, Peter, Maksim, Georgie, Diva, Chloe and Bathsheba for their great efforts.

In the Open Competition, Hillingdon entered three athletes:
Kian (U16) – 2nd place in the Shot Put with a new PB of 9.86m
Cirocco (U16) – 1st place in the Javelin with a new PB of 33.15m
Anton (U18) – 1st place in the Javelin with a throw of 43.59m, just short of a new PB
The team was also ably supported by members of the Hillingdon Aspire group, several of whom were taking part in their first competition.
