New Year Lido Relays, 2nd January 2012

The unseasonably fine weather brought the masses and classes plus pets and toys out on Monday to pack out Ruislip Lido and create a guesstimate of 200+ obstacles per 1.6 mile lap for the runners of the Lido relays. The team of Robert Thompson and John Bignell came through the mayhem to claim the fastest team placing out of 26 teams.

A big thanks should go to Harry Wild for stepping in (again) and organising the event at the last minute along with Lesley Lavers plus the officials who also stepped in to make sure the event took part.

Time keepers: Christine Roy &  Jim Leith. Numbers & positions: Jackie Butler & Lesley Lavers.  Results: Jim & Lesley. Marshalls: Bernie Houchin, Gary Lavers & John Myall.
