Christmas Morning Road Race 2025 Results

The 58th Hillingdon AC Christmas Morning Road Race was held on Thursday 25th December, with a total of 61 participants, 51 opting for the 3.2 mile distance, with 10 competing over the 1 lap distance of 1.6 miles. It was a cool 4 degrees celsius on the morning, though sunny with a cold wind.
 
James Laing (16:55) secured his sixth victory in the annual Christmas Morning Road Race, maintaining his monopoly with Rob Thompson on the race since 2010. Catriona Paterson (19:52) achieved her hat-trick of wins (in consecutive years), whilst Keith Seldon (49:26) completed his 53rd consecutive appearance in the race, promoted by Hillingdon AC since 1966.
 
Second place in the race was claimed by Adam Strinic (18:12), with Dan Thompson claiming third place (19:24). Hannah Laing (20:43) finished as second lady, eleventh overall, with Melanie Spencer (23:20) rounding off the podium places, twentieth overall.
 
 
A big thank you to our officials, Gavin Collett and Phil Welch! The clubhouse was packed following the race, with runners, family and friends staying behind to enjoy post-race refreshments!
