Round 2 of the Youth Development League U13/15 at Uxbridge on Saturday 1st June brought six changes to our club records – one going back to 1974 reports Diane Gibbons. It was a superb team effort resulting with us being 2nd with 494 points just 11 points behind TVH. We had many great performances but the following deserve special recognition; Celine Clarke u13 broke the 150m record in 19.9 also she jumped 4m57in the long jump breaking that record as well. Niamh McGuigan u15 ran the 75mh in 11.1 breaking a record that has stood since 1974. Emily Wilcock u13 threw the javelin 19m35 breaking the previous record of 17m38. Ambra Beason also U13 jumped 1m50 breaking the club record of 1m43. Not wanting to be left out the the u15 boys relay team of Louis Southwell, Aidan Bradshaw,D’Shaune McWayne and Sam Fraser won their 4×100 relay in 48.1 breaking a record which has stood since 1978.
