High fives as the track suits Julia

Julia Bleasdale made a fine finish to her Olympic odyssey with  8th place in the Olympic womens 5000m final on Friday 10th August. In a tactical race, Julia held a good position toward the front of the pack until the final burn up from the spectacular East African women to post a very respectable 15:14.55 just being pipped by Jo Pavey Results here.

3 days earlier in the qualifying rounds Julia recorded an awesome personal best performance of 15.02.00 finishing 4th to qualify in style.

In the last 18 months she has been in sparkling form to go from relative obscurity to the highest stage on earth. Hopefully everyone is suitably inspired and motivated to be the best they can or help others be the best they can.
