19 year old Matthew Fayers, competing in the BMC Grand Prix in Trafford, Manchester last night (12.07.14) took down the 37 year old overall club record for 800m. Matt’s stunning performance of 1:48.12 puts him 15th in the UK rankings. Matthew is studying in the USA and on the 29th May he ran the second fastest ever club time over 1500m with 3:43.96 in Fayetteville, Arizona.
