The first race in the 2012 Enfield League series was completed by 3 HAC walkers on Saturday 21st January. Congratulations to Fabian Deuter on his 3rd place – a strong walk! Andy Cox (10th) and Ken Bobbett(17th) completed the team. The very windy conditions ruled out any chances of good times. 49 started the race; this gives a good indication that race walking is in reasonably good shape at the start of 2012 reports Andy Cox. As the 2025 London Marathon approaches on Sunday 27th April, many club members are gearing up to make a significant impact, from PB chasers to first timers, the London Marathon is a great spectacle!
