Coronavirus update

Having seen the Governments statement this evening which included a warning to avoid all “non essential contact” including trips to pubs and clubs, the committee and I have taken the decision to close the clubhouse for the foreseeable future. Coached sessions at both the clubhouse and the track will be suspended. This is in line with the action taken by other local clubs. This is the responsible thing to do and I appreciate it will not be popular. However the health of our members and their families must come first. Individual members must consider for themselves whether it is responsible in the current circumstances to meet up to go out on informal group runs. If you do decide to I would ask that you do not do so from outside the clubhouse.There is no doubt that this is going to be a tough period. Please keep in touch with each other and offer support where needed. We will all miss each other, take care, Dave
