Carys Tetlaw hopped, skipped and jumped past the U17W club Triple Jump record in June. She passed the previous line in the sand by 2 centimetres with 10.34 metres. With the good work of our club coaches plus extra coaching now by GB Olympian Larry Achike, this record may not last very long.
U17W Rebecca Miles also set a club record in June. In the 300m hurdles she cleared the 2009 record of 50.0 with a time of 49.3 at our home track to show her all round ability.
For a third time this season Matt Fayers has broken the club U20M 800m record. At Watford in a BMC race on Wednesday 13th July he took almost a 1 second chunk out of his previous record of 1:53.08 with a fantastic 1:52.27 at 16 years old.
