Middlesex Masters XC 1st March 2014

Hillingdon AC came away from the Middlesex Masters Cross Country Championships at Wormwood Scrubs with an impressive selection of medals reports Scott Farley. Mike Dooley took the individual bronze medal in the M40 category and his performance, combined with those of Simon Connell and Scott Farley, ensured the club won gold medals for the M40 team competition after a close battle with Ealing, Southall and Middlesex.

In the mens Vet 50 competition Hillingdon took team bronze medals thanks to the performances of Dave Newman, Pete Warburon and Martin Searle. Two more individual medals were claimed in the Vet 70 contest with Doug Milson winning gold and Mick Miller silver. Meanwhile in the women’s competition Angela Duncan won gold for her performance in the Vet 65 category.
