The weekend of the 9th & 10th May were the County Track & Field Championships. Lee Valley hosted the Middlesex event, and we had a few HAC athletes in attendance. Saturday was warm and sunny with the normal swirling wind which affects all, but Sunday was considerably cooler with not such favourable conditions.
Whilst our athlete numbers were not high, we had several HAC Officials in attendance for the county, and it is important to note that without Officials, events simply would not happen. If you are interested in supporting our club and maybe even the County in this capacity, please speak to any of the Coaches either at the track or the clubhouse.
The events were run over two days and covered each discipline, with the new age categories now in place for the Junior athletes. Here is a summary of the HAC results.
