Well done to Martin Bateman and Hannah Wells who finished first male and female respectively in this year’s Wilkie Mile. The race was held on Thursday 24th March over a mile on Broadwood Avenue in Ruislip. Martin finished in 4:58 and Hannah in 5:36, a new club record for the Women’s race in this event. Sunday 23rd March saw the Hillingdon 20, (formerly the Finchley 20) take place. The Hillingdon 20 is regarded as Britain’s oldest 20-mile road race.
