Hillingdon AC is looking for more volunteers to help run and improve all aspects of the club.
The club is a not for profit organisation, all monies raised from membership fees, club fixtures and social events cover the running costs and improvements to the clubhouse, club race and event entry fees, transport to various fixtures and training of club officials and coaches. Entry fees to Hillingdon Stadium don’t go to HAC.
All the people that run the club give their time for free for the benefit of everyone connected to the club.
We have quite a few volunteers who do jobs like;
cleaning
managing teams and entries
coaching
paying the bills
buying stock
cooking
club communications
social events
We have volunteers that work all day then do club business until late in the evening many nights a week. Now think, who does those jobs? Could you help and improve something in the club? All the volunteers do a good job, but like you, they train, work and have busy lives and interests away from the club.
They need YOUR help
If you’re a parent with a child that trains with the club, can you spare time to help coach or assist the coaches?
As a level 1 coach, which only takes a day to get the qualification; you can assist higher coaches. The club would pay the coaching fees.
