North of the Thames Champs & Liddiard Trophy, Fryent Country Park, 25 October 2014

Hillingdon AC won a number of team and individual medals at the North of the Thames Championship and Liddiard Trophy race at Fryent Country Park, Kingsbury on Saturday 25 October with the highlight being Eva Mack’s win in the senior women’s race as she held off Highgate’s Emma Burgess in the closing stages to claim gold.

Sam Lloyd was third in the Under 20 Men’s race, Mike Dooley was third in the men’s Vet 40 category and the senior men’s team claimed bronze medals in the North of the Thames Championship thanks to Dan Thompson (seventh), Mike Dooley (14^th), Ed Campbell (15^th), Sam Blanshard (33^rd), Chris Ingram (43^rd) and Dave Newman (55^th).

Also in action were Andrea Taylor (24^th) and Donna Nash (32^nd) in the women’s race and Stevan Dokic (84^th), Bob Burton (106^th) and Paul Martin (127^th) in the men’s race.
