Hillingdon AC’s Senior Men made a strong start to the 2014/2015 Metropolitan Cross Country League with the A team finishing fifth in Division One and the B team finishing second in Division 3 at the first race of the season at Claybury.
Hillingdon AC had 31 finishers in the men’s race with Robert Thompson the first scorer for the club in fifth place. Behind Rob, there were fine runs from a number of athletes including James Laing (29th) and Martin Bateman (45th) while the team performance was boosted by the return of Tadhg Grant, Richard Mann and Sam Blanshard and senior Met League debuts from Ruben Vos and Sam Lloyd.
