Next Sunday will see the return of the Gosunder 5 mile handicap, the only club race which is actually older than the club.
It will be contested over a 5 mile course in Ruislip Woods with a 2×2 1/2 mile relay option available for juniors or anyone who wants to take the shorter option.
Numbers will be issued at the clubhouse from 8.45-9.15am with the first runner starting at 9.30, the last at around 10.00. First HAC member across the finish line will get their hands on the magnificent trophy.
Race entry is free for HAC members or £3 for non members.
Afterwards we will be returning to the clubhouse to watch the final Olympics athletics session which runs from 11.00 to 13.55 including the men’s 100m final.
Please enter in advance by letting Dan Spinks or John Luscombe know that you will be there although entries will be available on the day for the less organised of you.
