Fraternity Cup, Trent Park, 26/11/2022

A small but dedicated band of Hillingdon AC men braved the wilds of Cockfosters and the perils of the Piccadilly Line to compete in the Fraternity Cup at Trent Park.

With the Fraternity (men) and Sorority Cup (women) races combined with the Chingford League there were a variety of different club vests on display as the race returned to its traditional circuit on the south side of Trent Park for the first time since 2019.

Paul Leppard was first scorer for the club in 89th place as he made his first competitive appearance for the club since racing in the South of England 12 Stage Road Relays in March.

Behind Paul, Martin Searle and Trevor Steeples both added to their points tallies in the Vet 60 winter points tables with Martin finishing 166th and Trevor 183rd. However, with only three athletes the club failed to complete a team in the six to score team competition.
