Given present restrictions and the probability that organised sport will not take place for some considerable time the Management Committee is deferring requesting membership renewals as we normally do by 1 April. All those who are members at the close of 2019/20 will have their memberships rolled forward into 2020/21 unless they formally resign.
We are also suspending registering athletes with England Athletics pending guidance from that body as to the resumption of organised athletics, which at present will not be before April 30.
We urge all members and their families to keep abreast of and comply with government and NHS advice regarding Coronavirus. We wish you all well in this difficult period and hope we can all resume normality as soon as possible.
