Clara and Jamie then contested the High Jump with jumps of 1.40 and 1.25m.
The throwers did well. Kacey in the Discus, Hammer and Shot, Samantha SP, Elizabeth in the Javelin and Grace W in the SP.
It was a tough day for many but everyone did the best that they could do given the hot conditions. Some athletes came along and were doing studying between their events which was great to see.
The team finished 7th out of 9 teams with Reading and Bracknell taking the top 2 places.
A big thankyou to everyone who turned out….the athletes, the officials and the team managers.
Hope you are soon fit again Suzanne.
