HAC Qual-Cast cut to size by Fly-Mo
Sunday 27th May saw 4 Hillingdon men take on the might of Mo Farah and an assortment of internationals and UK athletes taking part in the UKA 10K champs as part of the Bupa London 10,000 Reports Martin Bateman.
International debut for Fayers
17 yr old Matt Fayers made his Great Britain debut at the Loughborough International meeting on Sunday 20th May.
Borrowdale Trailers
Three intrepid Hillingdon AC athletes took on the Lake District terrain in the Borrowdale Trail Run on Sunday 20th May. With the weather set fair, John Bignell, Paul Leppard and Martin Bateman took a day off from hiking the mountains to compete in this competition.
Hillingdon win Southern League Leg 2 – Battersea, Saturday 19 May
Hillingdon AC emerged victorious at the end of the second fixture of the Southern Athletic League Div 2 central at Battersea Park with 191.5 points, 17 points ahead of Belgrave, Highgate and Serpentine clubs.
Les Collett
Les Collett passed away peacefully aged 77 after a long illness on Thursday 10 May, ironically the date of the 5K Training Race at which he used to help at the finish.

International selection for Fayers
Congratulations to 17 year old Matthew Fayers for his selection to compete in the 1500m for the Aviva GB & NI junior team at the Loughborough International on 20th May. He has also been chosen to compete in the Olympic Trials at the end of June.
